This Science lesson on Small Batch - Making Lip Balm - Solid Liquid Gas has been created for Primary and Middle School (Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). For this lesson you will need: Beeswax Pellets, Essential Oil, Cocoa Butter and Almond Oil (you can substitute olive oil if you have allergies in your class). You can use a hot plate or a microwave for this lesson.
This complete 28 page Lesson Presentation will teach your students about SOLIDS LIQUIDS AND GASES and demonstrates how to make LIP BALM. Included are 2 vocabulary sheets, followed by a FUN KAHOOT. At the end of the lesson, there are step by step VIDEO CLIPS, that will teach your students how to make lip balm.
